KEN SAFIR

Ken Safir, a professor of linguistics at Rutgers University, New Brunswick.  studied for his Ph.D. in the late 70's at MIT where he was a student of Noam Chomsky. Though Safir has followed Chomsky's politics for longer than that, he was still surprised to discover, upon meeting Chomsky a week before the election, that they were both forsaking Nader and the Greens for Kerry, and out of the same desperation: The Bushies are really that bad.
